Road surface markings are used on paved roadways to provide guidance and information to drivers and pedestrians. Uniformity of the markings is an important factor in minimizing confusion and uncertainty about their meaning.

Road surface markings is used to delineate traffic lanes, inform motorists and pedestrians or serve as noise generators when run across a road, or attempt to wake a sleeping driver when installed in the shoulders of a road.

There is continuous effort to improve the road marking system, and technological breakthroughs include adding reflectivity, increasing longevity and lowering installation costs.

Rugoway Paint, with additives like reflective glass beads, is generally used to mark travel lanes.
It is also used to mark spaces in parking lots or special purpose spaces for handicap parking, loading zones, or time restricted parking areas.

Paint is usually applied right after the road has been paved. Our paint is run through a series of hoses under an airless pressure and applied to the roadway surface.

After application, the paint dries fairly quickly. Painted symbols, such as turn-lane arrows or carpooling lane markers, are applied manually using our templates.

• Waterproof Glass Beads: In the field of the road marking, Glass beads are spherical transparent particles which are added to the road markings to make them visible of night.The high performance glass beads of a diameter lower than 1 mm, are specifically treated in accordance with the road marking product used where they are dropped or/and injected; The dual adherence/floatation treatments increase their adherence and optimise the depression degree in the ground to give a higher retroreflexion level on the road and make the marking last longer.
  
  
• Road Studs: Emit a perceptible noise when the user drives above and indicates him that he goes out of his lane.
